These tips are very important to keep you away from buying a lemon. The first is to purchase the right used car based on your requirements. Indeed, besides the matter of budget, you also must think about security, safety, model and year production that you like. The consumption of fuel versus performance must also be considered.

The second is to mull over other “fringe” costs. You will find stamp duty, transfer fee, registration as well as insurance if you purchase it from the seller. You have to consider these costs before shopping for a used car that you think can buy it. The third, it is better for you to take an expert while doing an inspection. Ford Focus RS Tech Spec

I love Ford Focus RS for its athletic exterior lies a formidable power unit and advanced racing technology but not only. The Ford Focus RS is the first Ford to wear the famous Rallye Sport badge since the first-generation Focus RS was launched seven years ago, and the 22nd since 1970.
RS denotes a distinctive blend of high performance, road-holding, refinement, safety and value for money, and reflects a proud tradition of successful motor sports involvement that continues to the present day. Under the bonnet of the Ford Focus RS is a turbocharged 2.5-litre, five-cylinder Duratec petrol engine, with a confirmed 305PS and 440Nm peak torque. Features include unique camshafts and a revised cylinder head and gasket, intake and manifold system.

Front-wheel-driven through a six-speed transmission, the Focus RS accelerates from 0-62mph in under six seconds and has a targeted top speed of over 160mph.

A class-leading balance of traction, sports handling and performance is achieved through the combination of a Quaife Automatic Torque Biasing limited-slip differential and innovative RevoKnuckle front-suspension system.

These features are complemented by a wider track, enhanced drive-shafts and rear anti-roll bar, revised springs and dampers and retuned steering, while a specially developed version of Ford’s Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) with Traction Assist (TA) provides added assurance.
Uprated disc brakes – 336mm ventilated front and 300mm rear – combine with an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) and Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) to supply a reassuringly high degree of stopping power.

Taking its place as the top-of-the-range Focus, the RS will be immediately distinguishable on the road, with its unique bonnet, front bumper and side skirts. Also unique to the model are its 19-inch alloy wheels, shod with 235/35 tyres.

From Ford Fusion to B-MAX

It seems that very soon well known and popular enough model Ford Fusion will be changed for a new one. According the Automobile Magazine the next model name is B-MAX.

Moreover, besides the name the new one will get a new “character” as well. If Fusion is likely “little crossover” with a slightly raised ground clearance and “harsh” appearance, the new B-MAX will be a classic mono-cab.

Ford B-MAX will become the fourth in the line model of Ford (the company now produces a model C-MAX, S-MAX and Galaxy). Like the Fusion, this car will be built on the platform of Fiesta, and under its hood will be petrol engines volume of 1.4 liters (96 hp) and 1.6 liters (120 hp), and 1,6 — liter diesel (90 hp).

It is expected that demonstration of the new B-MAX will take place in March next year at the Geneva Motor Show.
Regarding the 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid fuel economy, it is built for those who are seeking a more efficient mid-size sedan. It’s not a racecar, although it looks like one. The automobile now offers four individual powertrains: a 2.5-liter I-4 (175 horsepower), a 2.5-liter I-4 hybrid (192 hp), an E-85-capable 3.0-liter V-6 (240 hp), and a 3.5-liter V-6 (263 hp).

The Ford Fusion Hybrid comes with front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive can be ordered on select models. The Atkinson cycle 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine will provide 155 horsepower for the car. The electric motor housed within the transmission unit adds 36 horsepower at full-throttle, providing a total of 191 horsepower.

Another remarkable thing about the 2010 Ford Fusion is its ability to propel itself on electric power alone. The vehicle can operate on electric power for short distances and at low speeds. It comes with a more powerful battery pack that allows the gasoline engine to shut off more often.
